Born on December 31, 1976 in Beer-Shiva Israel, by the young age of 13, Liam Shachar had acquired a love for dance music. Influenced by the Middle Eastern sound that surrounded him combined with the 80’s music that he grew up on, Liam developed a truly unique style and sound, eventually earning him a massive response from the Israeli local club scene. By the age of 19 Shachar had already managed to get himself his own dance radio show on a reputable Tel Aviv radio station and he had spread his DJ talents throughout the biggest clubs in Israel. A strong love for the music that he found himself playing led him to take the leap in to production, where his keen understanding of the sounds that have driven the biggest of dance floors could reveal itself. His first production was signed by a Miami based record label, Grooveman Records and soon after he had releases on labels such as Teknology, Release Elements and Basswalk just to name a few. His innovative productions were gaining huge support by the global dance scene. His music was played by the world’s top DJ’s. Names like Paul Oakenfold, Armin Van Burren, Sasha and John Digweed are just a few of the ears that Shachar got hold of in his early years. Recently described by Paul Oakenfold as "one of the best talents to come out of Israel," he was signed to Perfecto Records and remixed some of the label’s greatest talents including Jan Johnston, Emjay and Oakenfold himself. Performing in front of thousands at some of the world’s biggest clubs and events has opened the door for Shachar to spread his epic sound of electronic music across the world.
